VecoMicro-S

Microfiltration for 0.2 - 1 micron

Perfectly controlled uniform holes down to 0.2 micron with a tolerance of +/- 10% of hole size. The micro filters have a double layer with slotted holes between the two layers. The holes can be positioned on the filter with a great freedom of design.

The VecoMicro-S micro filter range can be used for absolute filtration, critical cell separation or emulsification. Food, biotechnology and medicine are the main fields where the unique new micro filters are used.
More uniform pore size compared to regular membranes are expected to be better suited for the accurate retention of micro organisms

The material is very rigid compared to the silicon or ceramic membrane filters. Thickness of the two layers can be chosen free in between 10 and a few hundred microns. The flux of the VecoMicro-S filter medium varies from 1000 till 2000 L/H-M2 (with 0.4 micron slits and 1 bar pressure)
